SHARK TECH, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates mobile applications available on the Google Play Store, including our immigration tracking, receipt decoding, and citizenship test preparation apps. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information in those apps and on this website.

Disclaimer

Our apps are independent applications and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by USCIS, the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.

Immigration-related information displayed in our apps may be obtained from publicly available official government resources. Official government source links are listed in the Official Government Sources section near the bottom of this document.

1. No Personal Data Collected by SHARK TECH Servers

We do not collect, sell, or use personal information for advertising or tracking. Our apps do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email address, or other identifying information to use core features.

For apps that check USCIS case status or decode receipt information, a receipt or case number may be transmitted only when needed to retrieve status information. That number is used solely to query the applicable government system through our backend service or public source and is not logged, stored, retained, sold, or analyzed by us.

2. Data Stored On Your Device

All data you enter into our apps, such as tracked priority dates, receipt numbers, case numbers, preferences, language selection, and saved items, is stored locally on your device unless a specific feature requires a temporary request as described in Section 3.

You can remove locally stored app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data through your device settings.

3. Network Access

Our apps connect to the internet only to provide app functionality, retrieve public data, check official sources, or process optional purchases. For example:

We do not use these requests to track users, build profiles, or sell data.

4. Data Retention

We do not retain user case data, receipt numbers, priority dates, or tracked immigration information on our servers. User-entered data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

5. Data Deletion

Because we do not store your tracked app data on our servers, there is no server-side case data for us to delete. To delete app data, uninstall the app or go to your device Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Clear Data.

If you contact us with a data deletion question, we will respond within 30 days and confirm whether any server-side information exists related to your inquiry.

6. Data Security

Network requests made by our apps use HTTPS encryption in transit where supported. We do not operate databases containing users' tracked immigration data.

In the unlikely event that a security incident affects a system operated by SHARK TECH, LLC and could impact users, we will provide notice through appropriate means, such as app update release notes, this website, or in-app messaging where available.

7. Transfer of Ownership

If SHARK TECH, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, we do not have user-tracked immigration data stored on our servers to transfer. We will notify users of material ownership or policy changes through app release notes or this website.

8. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share user data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers for marketing purposes.

The limited third-party interactions used by our apps may include:

9. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are commonly used for advertising or data-broker purposes. Because our apps are designed without accounts, advertising SDKs, or tracking analytics, we do not use personal information for behavioral advertising.

10. Notifications

Notifications in our apps are generated and delivered using the device's notification system. Where supported, alerts are based on information stored locally on your device and public update checks. We do not use notifications to track you or advertise to you.

11. In-App Purchases

Some apps offer optional one-time purchases through Google Play Billing. Payment processing is handled by Google. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card information. Google's Privacy Policy governs billing transactions and can be reviewed at policies.google.com/privacy.

12. No Advertising or Tracking

Our apps do not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics libraries, or third-party tracking tools. We do not serve ads, track your usage for marketing, or sell data to third parties.

13. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received such information, please contact us at contactus@gosharktech.com.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be summarized in app release notes.

Continued use of our apps after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree with a change, you may uninstall the app and delete your local data at any time.

15. This Website

This website, gosharktech.com, is a static informational site. It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. No information is collected when you visit this site.

16. Your Rights

Because we do not store tracked app data on our servers, there is generally no server-side user data to access, correct, or delete. Any data stored by our apps exists locally on your device and remains under your control.

For privacy questions or deletion confirmation requests, contact us at contactus@gosharktech.com.

17. Official Government Sources

Our apps may use or link to publicly available information from official government sources, including:

Always verify important immigration information directly through official government websites.
